Biography
Leony (born Leonie Burger on 25 June 1997 in Chammünster, Bavaria, Germany) is a German pop singer and songwriter. She gained initial recognition in 2014 as part of the band Unknown Passenger on the RTL talent show Rising Star, where their rendition of Rihanna's "Stay" captivated audiences. Following the band's dissolution, Leony embarked on a solo career, signing with Sony Music Australia in 2016. Her debut single "Surrender" was released in 2017, and she continued to build her discography with tracks like "Boots" (2018) and "More Than Friends" (2019).
Leony's breakthrough came in 2020 with a modern rendition of Modern Talking's "Brother Louie," a collaboration with VIZE, Imanbek, and Dieter Bohlen. She has since released hits such as "Faded Love," "Remedy," and "Raindrops" (with Katja Krasavice), solidifying her presence in the German pop scene.
