Biography

Grigory Leps (born Grigory Viktorovich Lepsveridze on July 16, 1962, in Sochi, Russia) is a renowned Russian singer-songwriter of Georgian descent. He began his musical journey in Sochi, performing in local bands and restaurants. In 1995, he moved to Moscow, where he released his debut album May God Keep You (Храни вас Бог), featuring the hit song "Natali."
Leps is celebrated for his powerful baritone voice and his evolution from Russian chanson to a blend of soft rock and pop. His 2002 album On Strings of Rain (На струнах дождя) included the iconic track "Rjumka vodki na stole" ("A Glass of Vodka on the Table"). Over the years, he has collaborated with artists like Timati, Sergey Shnurov, and Irina Allegrova. His discography boasts numerous successful albums, including Parus (2004), Labirint (2006), and Gangster No.1 (2014).
Beyond music, Leps has ventured into business, owning a production center, a karaoke club, and a chain of jewelry stores. In 2022, he was honored with the title of People's Artist of Russia. However, his career has not been without controversy; in 2013, the U.S. Department of the Treasury sanctioned him over alleged ties to a Eurasian criminal organization, and in 2022, the EU imposed sanctions related to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Lyosha Svik (real name Alexey Svik) is a Russian singer and songwriter known for his emotive vocals and contemporary pop sound. He began his musical career in the early 2010s and gained popularity with tracks that resonate with younger audiences. Svik is recognized for his introspective lyrics and has released several successful singles and albums that have charted in Russia.
In interviews, Svik has shared personal insights, including his challenges with bad habits like smoking and drinking, which he acknowledges as detrimental yet currently struggles to overcome. He has also expressed a desire to lead a healthier lifestyle in the future. Svik values authenticity and has stated that he avoids intimate relationships with fans, emphasizing the importance of genuine connections over superficial interactions.
