Biography
Christos Ioannidis, known professionally as Light, Yung Light, or Nero Greco, is a prominent Greek rapper, songwriter, and record label executive. Born on January 24, 1995, in Sykies, Thessaloniki, he has become one of the most influential figures in the Greek trap and hip-hop scene.
Light was born to a Greek father of Pontic descent and a Kenyan mother, a multicultural heritage that inspired his alias “Nero Greco” (meaning “Black Greek”). He was discovered at the age of 17 by fellow rapper Ypochthonios, leading to his entry into the Greek rap scene.
In 2012, Light began releasing music and quickly gained attention. His debut EP, "Nero Greco" (2015), marked his emergence in the industry. He co-founded Capital Music, a leading Greek rap label.

Expanding his artistic endeavors, Light is set to make his acting debut in the upcoming film "The Aegean", portraying a complex businessman character.
