Chart-Topping Australian Singer/Songwriter Vance Joy To Perform At JetBlue's Next Live From T5 Concert
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ JetBlue) JetBlue Airways, New York's Hometown Airline, today announces a special acoustic live performance by Australian troubadour Vance Joy. The Live From T5 concert series is a mainstay in JetBlue's LIVE music platform. Live From T5 features surprise and delight concerts by emerging artists as well as top recording acts. These award-winning concerts feature exclusive pop-up performances held post-security at JetBlue's home terminal -- T5 -- at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York. Vance Joy will perform on Monday, October 27 at 5 pm.

Joy spent his summer lighting up several top music festivals such as Chicago's Lollapalooza, Montreal's Osheaga Music and Arts Festival, and San Francisco's Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival. As a result his single "Riptide," from his debut album Dream Your Life Away, held the #1 spot at Alternative radio outlets for five weeks. The track was declared iTunes' "Single of the Week" upon arrival and was also ranked among Spotify's "Top 10 Most Viral Tracks." The single's companion video has surpassed 25 million individual views on YouTube. This fall, Vance will embark on a major headline tour titled the "Dream Your Life Away World Tour 2014" which kicks off today in Dallas.

JetBlue has partnered with Atlantic Records to provide some of Vance Joy's most loyal fans with VIP access to this show and an opportunity to meet him. The airline will also provide an exclusive invitation to several lucky TrueBlue members plus their guests traveling through JFK on the day of the show.

"JetBlue's LIVE platform has served as a launching pad for several artists on the cusp of international acclaim such as Icona Pop and Emeli Sande. Our core concerts, Live From T5, provide a special and unexpected treat for our customers traveling through T5," said Chan Tran, brand analyst, JetBlue Airways. "Vance Joy is the perfect artist for this series. He offers the type of fresh sound and sensibility that we like to feature on this unique stage."

Over the past five years, JetBlue's Live From T5 concert series has served as a platform for emerging artists as well as contemporary performers. The concert series perfectly complements the JetBlue Experience with live entertainment for customers traveling through the airline's home terminal -- Terminal 5 at JFK Airport in New York. These surprise shows have featured performances by an array of artists across musical genres including Aloe Blacc, Goodie Mob, The Wanted, Phillip Phillips, Taylor Swift, Ellie Goulding, Lady Antebellum, Emeli Sande, Jason Derulo, Sarah McLachlan, Daughtry and more. Outside of the terminal, the airline has hosted exclusive performances by Lady Antebellum and Gary Clark Jr. as part of JetBlue LIVE.
