Milo Greene Wraps Tour With Foster The People, Announces New Single, Festivals, And Headline Dates
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Atlantic Records) Elektra/Chop Shop band Milo Greene has announced a busy summer schedule that includes a new single, festival appearances, and a major US headline tour, beginning just a week after their tour supporting Foster The People wraps up.

"On The Fence" marks the latest single from the Los Angeles-based band's acclaimed new album, "CONTROL." Already a Spotify smash with streams fast approaching 1 million, the track will be celebrated with a unique video of the band performing the single at an intimate hometown show for Red Bull Sound Selects at the Echo in Los Angeles, premiering exclusively via REDBULL: https://win.gs/MiloGreene

"On The Fence" has also proven a critical favorite, with NYLON hailing it as "the raddest soundtrack to your life, with its easygoing choruses, steady percussion, and vibrating synths," adding "('On The Fence') is pure cinematic indie pop. And it's awesome." What's more, a live rendition of "On The Fence" -- recorded last year at Boston's House of Blues -- is streaming now via NPR Music at www.npr.org/event/music/384967841/front-row-milo-greene-on-the-fence.

"CONTROL" has already spawned a string of stellar singles, including "White Lies" (praised by Interview as "a catchy, rhythmic gem"), "Lonely Eyes" (performed earlier this year on TBS' Conan: teamcoco.com/video/milo-greene-01-28-15), and "Lie To Me." The latter track is accompanied by an official companion video, streaming now at Milo Greene's own www.youtube.com/user/milogreenemusic; in addition, a special Rdio Session version of "Lie To Me" can be viewed at www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-yXj1XCTDw.

Milo Greene heralded "CONTROL" late last year with a series of sold out dates supporting Bombay Bicycle Club, followed by its own hugely successful headline tour. The trek saw sold out shows in major markets across the country, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, New York City, Brooklyn, and Washington, DC.

"CONTROL" was recorded last year with producer Jesse Shatkin (Sia, Foster The People, Ellie Goulding) at his Highland Park, California home studio. The band were further assisted by legendary drummer Joey Waronker (Beck, Atoms For Peace, R.E.M.), who helped guide the album's complex rhythmic backdrop while also contributing drums to a number of tracks.

Milo Greene - that is, Andrew Heringer, Robbie Arnett, Marlana Sheetz, and Graham Fink -- began making music in 2009, adopting the moniker of their own fictional band manager for their own very real brand of cinematic pop. The Los Angeles-based group quickly earned national acclaim, with NPR Music singling them out as one of 2011's most promising new acts and Esquire placing them on its list of "2012's Artists to Watch."
