Roger Davidson teams up once more with Marco Lobo, a world renowned Brazilian percussionist for "Volta ao Mundo Através da Música/An Improvised Musical Journey around the World" concert in Brasilia, Brazil's capital city. The two artists deliver a high impact performance, showcasing the duo's talent for improvisation and melding together the beauty of piano and percussion to create a soulful harmony.

Roger Davidson's life-long connection to Bossa Nova brought him to Brazil the first time in 2011 when he recorded the double album "Journey to Rio" with a cast of stellar musicians that included Marco Lobo. Since then, he has returned annually to perform and collaborate with Lobo and other prominent Brazilian musicians.

During this recent concert and in past collaboration, Roger Davidson and Marco Lobo showcase not only their respective musical prowess but also the synergy of their talent to produce powerful music. Their inspired music is beautifully captured in Soundbrush Records' forthcoming album, "An Improvised Musical Journey around the World", a live recording of their 2013 improvisation concert in Teresópolis, Brazil.

Roger Davidson, an ordained Interfaith Minister, has devoted his life to channeling his spirituality through music. His acclaimed catalog ranges from chamber, symphonic, and choral pieces to jazz, tango, Klezmer, children's music, a wide span of Latin and Brazilian music, Universal Sacred Music, and most recently, a solo piano project - Temple of the Soul: Rhapsodies and Meditations for Solo. Marco Lobo
Marco Lobo is a Brazilian native percussionist, notably one of the best in the Brazilian music scene. Having performed in hundreds of theaters, jazz clubs, festivals and many other venues in Brazil and abroad, his career has achieved international stardom. Lobo has recorded more than 30 albums, six solo and others in collaboration with great artists of Brazilian music, among them Maria Bethânia, Milton Nascimento, Marisa Monte, Ivan Lins, João Bosco, Gilberto Gil, Vanessa da Mata, and Billy Cobham.
