SYDNEY, Australia (SONY BMG Australia) - In a phenomenal comeback, Natalie Imbruglia's stunning new album 'Counting Down The Days' has debuted at No 1 on the UK charts this week! Check out some of the press rolling in to find out why everyone is going ga-ga over her long-awaited new set...
In a whopping testament to her talent and how much her fans have missed her, Natalie Imbruglia's eagerly-awaited new studio album 'Counting Down The Days' has debuted at No 1 on the UK charts this week, selling over 40,000 copies in the first week!

Facing some seriously tough competition, Natalie fended off Tony Christie, Basement Jaxx and Mariah Carey to take out the coveted No 1 spot and achieve her third chart-topping album.

Released here in Australia yesterday, 'Counting Down The Days' delivers 12 intoxicating, evocative, shimmering organic pop tracks - 10 of which were either written or co-written by Natalie - and is already being hailed as her best work yet.

Needless to say, Nat is over the moon with the response the album has been receiving - just check out some of the press that has started to roll in to see why everyone is going ga-ga, once again, for this gorgeous and talented songstress:

"This is sure to herald the return of Imbruglia's Torn-era hugeness." Music Week
"Instantly loveable. Jingly jangly guitars, lazy day ballads and vocals that manage to be delicate yet strong - it all adds up to a great comeback." Cosmopolitan
"A great comeback." The Sun
"Awash with thoughtful melodies and a brace of big choruses." Red
"Fab stuff." Company
"An undeniably well crafted batch of tunes." Time Out
