New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Bitter is the latest release from Millie Manders and the Shutup, the final track to be released before their debut album Telling Truth, Breaking Ties and which sees no let-up in the ferocity of either the music or the message. Bitter is a track which not only features the soaring choruses and venomous, punk/ska attack which the band have become renowned for, but also lyrics which deal with the abandonment, callousness, cowardice and maltreatment which arises from rape and sexual abuse, as well as the bitterness that arises in the wake of it. It is the truth, honesty and bravery to tackle subjects which society so regularly shirks from addressing which set Millie Manders and the Shutup apart as one of 2020's most important, talked-about bands.

Fresh off the back of the nationwide success of the singles Silent Screams and Your Story, which received plays on Kerrang Radio and the BBC, plus features in Vive le Rock; Powerplay and Scootering magazine, Millie Manders and the Shutup have announced their forthcoming single, Bitter, the latest glimpse at their hugely anticipated album, Telling Truths, Breaking Ties.

With pre-orders for the limited-edition vinyl version of their album, Telling Truth, Breaking Ties, already stacking up, 2020 is the year Millie Manders and the Shutup's enter the public consciousness in a big way.
A delirious mix of punk, ska, pop and dagger-sharp lyrics, it sees Millie Manders and the Shutup as one of the UK's most exciting acts. As with their previous releases, the band have released limite-edition merchandise to support the track, £5 of which goes to a chosen charity or organisation relevant to the track.
To Coincide with the Release of "Bitter", The Band are Releasing Some New, Strictly Limited-Edition Merchandise - £5 from the sales of each vest and tee will go to The Survivors Trust - an umbrella charity for the survivors of rape and sexual abuse
