Indie-Pop Artist Wolf Saga Shares 'Fall Out' From Self-Titled Album
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Indie-pop artist Wolf Saga has released the noteworthy song, Fall Out, taken from his authentic self-titled album (18 November, 2020). On the album, listeners will find eight songs, one to honour each year of Wolf Sagas career. The musician is known for his vibrant stage presence, appearing at the WayHome Festival (Neil Young, Sam Smith, Alt-J) as well as Wake The Giant Festival (Metric, July Talk). The talented artist was a JUNO Masterclass Finalist in 2018 and was named RBCs Canadas Emerging Artist. Wolf Saga has received radio play from Sirius XM and CBC and has reached over 3.3 million plays across streaming platforms.

A sonic diary marking the thoughts and ideas of Wolf Saga, the self-titled LP covers a range of topics between charged reflections of inappropriate actions, promises to his future children and isolation. Fall Out, for instance, was written about the complexities of dysfunctional relationships while the lyrics leave room for ambiguity and reinterpretation - reflecting many conversations in such settings. On a quest to give listeners a reason to dance, the musician manages to pair the light-hearted and gentle indie tones with serious subject matter

Originally hailing from London, Ontario, Wolf Saga would choose the moniker to honour the spirit of the wolf - a creature known for protecting its loved ones in Sagas Ojibwe culture. Based in Toronto, the singer writes about important causes in his music, touching upon Indigenous reparations, Black Lives Matter, police brutality as well as more intimate and personal experiences with friends and family. Drawing influence from the likes of Caribou, Justice, Cut Copy, Bowie and Daft Punk, Wolf Sagas own sound calls to mind the lighthearted sounds of M83, MGMT and Empire of the Sun.

Speaking fondly of the single, Wolf Saga tells us: Fall Out is my favourite song off the album; it was the track I worked on the most. It seemed to be the one song that kept being put on hold due to "real life" happening, but it kept calling me back to work on it. It may have taken the longest to coalesce, but I think that's why I'm so proud of it.
