HACKENSACK, N.J. (Sinatra WebFans) - Ol' Blue Eyes' dark green Jaguar has new owner. The 1986 Jaguar XJ6 originally owned by Frank Sinatra was auctioned off to benefit survivors of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Angela Pakruda and her husband Michael, of Cape May Court House, N.J., made the winning bid of $20,000. But the seller, Anna M. Capelli balked, saying the bid didn't raise enough money for charity. The controversy ended up in court, and on Friday the two sides reached an agreement. Capelli, who bought the car in 1995, agreed to follow through with the sale, providing the Pakrudas not sell the car within two years. If they sell it for more than $25,000 within that time, any money beyond that price must go to the Bergen County United Way. Angela Pakruda says she'll keep the car. "It was meant to be. Sinatra wanted this to happen. He knew how much I loved him," she said.
