New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Chilean musician, producer, and film director Alex Anwandter is having an incredible month. In addition to receiving two nominations to the 24th Annual Latin Grammy Awards in the Best Pop/Rock Album category for his latest album "El Diablo En El Cuerpo," and in the Best Pop/Rock Song category for his writing contributions on Julieta Venegas's "Caminar Sola," he also finds himself in the midst of his successful international "El Diablo En El Cuerpo" tour in promotion of his album.

A prominent figure in South American pop, Anwandter has been on tour since the beginning of September, delivering two consecutive, unforgettable shows in Santiago, Chile, at Teatro Caupolicán on September 1 and 2, before making stops in other important Latin American cities such as Concepción, Temuco, Buenos Aires, Córdoba, and most recently Viña del Mar. After a brief pause, the multi-faceted artist will continue to tour Chile through the month of October, and will then head to Mexico, where he will offer three shows during the first few weeks of November.

Since its release in May, "El Diablo En El Cuerpo" has received high praise from both press and fans alike. The disco-influenced project was born during the pandemic and was made for dancing, featuring the popular tracks "Ahora somos dos," "Precipicio," "Mi vida en llamas" ft. Buscabulla and "Unx de nosotrxs" ft. Javiera Mena.

Not only did Anwandter release his own extraordinary album this year, which is now a Latin Grammy-nominated project, but he also produced Julieta Venegas's highly acclaimed album "Tu Historia," which just received a Latin Grammy nomination in the Best Pop Vocal Album category.

Anwandter has performed on some of the most renowned stages and has appeared at some of the most important festivals in Latin music, including Vive Latino in Mexico, Lollapalooza Chile and Argentina, the 2016 Grammy Awards, and many others. In 2018, he was recognized by Rolling Stone, which included his song "Cómo puedes vivir contigo mismo" on its list of 50 Greatest Latin Pop Songs. With six albums under his belt—four of them solo—his diverse talents have led him to garner incredible recognition outside of music as well, directing the award-winning 2016 film "You'll Never Be Alone," which was based on the true story of a father and son, as well as his own music videos.
