LAS VEGAS (Tony Orlando Fans) - Tie a yellow ribbon around Tony Orlando - he's coming home to Las Vegas. The pop singer is scheduled to perform a Christmas show at The Orleans hotel-casino Thursday through Dec. 23. Orlando, who was a regular in Las Vegas during the 1970s and 1980s, said he hopes to re-establish a significant presence in the city. "I'm delighted every time I go back,'' he told the Las Vegas Sun over the weekend. "There's no place like that town. Every time I go back we have great houses, great receptions. And it's interesting, I have a large local following, as well as tourists.'' Orlando's Las Vegas appearances tapered off while he performed in his own theater in Branson, Mo., during most of the 1990s. Orlando gave up his theater two years ago. Despite the addition of the Eiffel Tower, dancing waters and gondola rides in his absence, Orlando, 57, said Las Vegas hasn't changed for him when he hits the stage. "Onstage, there is no difference between now and 1972,'' he said. "You give to the audience the same act of giving you did in Vegas 30 years ago.''
