NEW YORK (CDNOW) - 311, which is currently touring Europe with Incubus, has announced most of the dates for its upcoming U.S. spring tour, which will commence Feb. 25 in Seattle and wrap in California mid-April.

Included on the cross-country itinerary is the second "3-11 Day" celebration, set for March 11 at the UNO Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, at which the band is expected to play an extra-long show packed with rarities and surprises. (They played over three hours in 2000.) The mayor of New Orleans has even proclaimed March 11 "311 Day" in the city, just as he did in 2000.

Hoobastank (of "Crawling in the Dark" fame) will be the opening act for all shows. The tour is expected to conclude with at least one Los Angeles-area concert.

Last week, 311 filmed a video for "Amber," the upcoming third single from its latest album, From Chaos. The clip is being directed by the Malloys (Blink-182, Foo Fighters) and was lensed during the day and night of Jan. 10 at Crystal Cove Beach near Laguna Beach, Calif. (Pictured above are Nick Hexum of 311 and girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger of Eden's Crush at the video shoot last week.)
