Kate Debuts Top 10 With 'Faded'

Sydney, AU. (SONY BMG MUSIC Entertainment) - Kate DeAraugo has stormed into the charts this week, with her sizzling new single 'Faded' debuting at No 8 and making it her second single on the ARIA charts right now - go Kate! In other news, Ms Kate will prove she's far from the retiring type, joining in the annual Mardi Gras parade down Oxford Street this weekend. Plus there's a new instore date and her [V] co-host coming up.

Sounding rockier and sexier than we've heard yet, Kate DeAraugo has fired into the charts with this week with her sizzling new single 'Faded'. The single debuted at No 8 on the ARIA Top 50 singles chart this week giving Kate the honour of having two singles in the charts right now - her debut No 1 platinum debut single 'Maybe Tonight' is still at No 38 on the charts after a phenomenal 13 weeks!!

In other news, it's going to be party central this week in Sydney with the fabulous annual Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras parade hitting Oxford Street this Saturday, March 4 - and Kate will be showing her support! KD is confirmed to appear on a special celebrity float in the massive celebration (one of the world's biggest night-time costume parades) - keep your eyes peeled for snippets sure to be on TV over the weekend.

Also on the appearance front, a second instore has been announced for fans wanting to come and meet Kate at Westfield Hornsby in Sydney on Saturday, March 11 at 1.00pm.
