New York, NY (Romeo Entertainment) - Asian-American rapper Jin, who first gained fame during BET's Freestyle Fridays by winning 7 weeks in a row and accepting a record deal from the Ruff Ryders, has decided to put out a new independent album released only to friends of his new page at www.MySpace.com/BuyIPromise. The album, entitled "I Promise", will include all new music recorded in the last month. The release is an independent release and has no ties to MySpace or any other label. "It's just something to let my fans know that I am continuing to work hard and give them a little something before we do it big again," said the rapper at a press conference this evening. For more details, visit his page at www.MySpace.com/BuyIPromise. Online orders will be available beginning on November 1st, 2006 - November 27th, 2006. Fans must request to be added to www.myspace.com/buyipromise in order to be able to purchase the "Limited Edition" album. The album will be shipped just in time for the 2006 Christmas holidays. Since 'I Promise' will be a "Limited Edition" release, only an undisclosed amount of units will be pressed up. There will be a "first come first served" basis, and after that, official copies will never be available again. Jin has recently posted the audio trailer to the 'I Promise' album that can be heard at any of his two MySpace pages at www.myspace.com/therealjin or www.myspace.com/buyipromise.
