Los Angeles, CA (Digital Underdog Productions) - Aussie bred, Canadian based musician producer Dave Thompson makes an appearance on the new reality series 'House Of Carters,' a show that focuses on Backstreet Boy Nick Carter and his siblings working out their differences after the messy divorce of their parents. The House Of Carters has been airing in the US since October and hits Australian and the UK airwaves in early November 2006. Dave was in LA filming as part of sister Leslie's episode, he plays guitar in her band and has co-written many of her songs with her. "We started writing together in March 2004, just the two of us, and we came up with 11 songs in that month. The songs we wrote ended up on the show and what we play live as a band now. The new band is called The Other Half. Leslie is super talented and loves rock and is a great lyricist and tells a great story in song and the guys in the band are just awesome and talented. Being on the show was definitely an experience, all the Carters are just awesome people and way too much fun to be around. We are currently working on a tour and an album for the new year for The Other Half." Dave grew up in Australia before moving to North America in 1998 to pursue music further. He is a professional touring musician, plays guitar with rock band High Holy Days who released a record on Roadrunner/Universal which spawned the Canadian top ten hit "All My Real Friends" and produces, mixes and writes with artists from all over the world. He is a Gibson artist playing Gibson guitars, and officially endorses Mesa Boogie Amps, Spector and Music Man Basses, Dot On Shaft Guitars, Levy's guitar straps and accessories and Firewire Strings.
