LONDON, UK (Oasis Fans Website) - It's all happening for UK rockers Oasis. On the eve of the worldwide album release for their long-awaited greatest hits 2CD set 'Stop The Clocks' (in stores here this Saturday), the band have been criss-crossing the States to promote the new album with exclusive screenings of their new rock doco 'Lord Don't Slow Me Down'. Watch the trailer here. Lead singer Noel Gallagher faced New York and LA fans this week to talk about their new Baillie Walsh-directed promo doco 'Lord Don't Slow Me Down' and highly-anticipated retrospective album 'Stop The Clocks' ahead of its worldwide release this weekend.

The exclusive screenings of 'Lord Don't Slow Me Down', have served as a neat way to rile up the fans for the release of the 'Stop The Clocks' album, with previously unseen backstage and performance footage and a band interviews all taken from Oasis' 'Don't Believe The Truth' world tour in 2005.

The film will feature a new Oasis song also titled 'Lord Don't Slow Me Down', which songwriter Gallagher described as being "one of the best things, like The Who, The Yardbirds and the Jeff Beck Group combined... and it's got two drum solos on it!".

Catch a glimpse of 'Lord Don't Slow Me Down' here.

To celebrate the launch of their album 'Stop The Clocks' (in stores this Saturday, November 18), Noel and guitarist Gem Archer also played a special pared-back set in LA last week of everything from tracks on 1998's b-side album 'The Masterplan' through to The Beatles' 'Strawberry Fields' (which Noel cheekily introduced as "a new song I've been working on").

They even managed to play some tunes which actually appear on the 'Stop The Clocks' album with a bluesy improv of 'Wonderwall' and moodier version of 'Slide Away'.

Speaking to fans in New York, Liam answered questions about 'Stop The Clocks' which will feature 18 tracks of the band's hand-picked favourites, though the track listing will not include the album's title track 'Stop The Clocks':

"Despite various demos we never nailed what version we're all happy with," explained Gallagher of the as-yet-unreleased song, "but the title fits where we are now."

As the self-proclaimed "the greatest band in the world", we're sure 'Stop The Clocks' will do just that.
'Stop The Clocks' is in stores Saturday, November 18
