Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Universal Records South) - Jennifer Hanson, along with Sarah Buxton, will be featured in Country Weekly's upcoming Fall Fashion 2007 issue, on stands September 10. Hanson will model clothing from designers including Max Azria and Yigal Azrouel. Noted photographer Kristin Barlowe shot the multi-page fashion special at a remote cabin located just outside Nashville. With temperatures hovering near the high nineties, Hanson and company endured sweltering humidity, spiders the size of a quarter and mosquitoes persistent in their attack. "I've always heard that artists have to suffer for their work, but when I started writing songs as a teenager, I didn't think it would be this kind of suffering for my art," Hanson joked. "Even with these less than perfect conditions though, the Country Weekly team made it fun and easier than I thought it would be. I mean, it is pretty challenging trying to look all supermodel pouty when there is a river of sweat pouring down your back and face- washing away all the makeup that took two hours to apply. Give me music over supermodel any day of the week!" Between her supermodel work, concert appearances and promoting her single "Joyride," Hanson has been putting the finishing touches to her upcoming CD release for Universal Records South. The as yet untitled CD is being produced by Hanson and Nick Brophy, and recorded in Nashville. Hanson, who is also a successful songwriter, (The Wreckers' "Leave the Pieces," Bucky Covington's "A Different World") co-wrote all of the songs on her new CD.
