NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ Blackheart Records) - Legendary rocker Joan Jett will have a busy spring: She'll be performing at the Rock and Roll Fall of Fame induction ceremony, and will appear on the True Colors tour. She's also featured in the Converse 100th anniversary campaign. And finally, three bands signed to her Blackheart Records label, Girl in a Coma, Cute Lepers and The Dollyrots, will perform at SXSW next week in Austin.

2008 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony: Joan Jett will pay musical tribute to the Dave Clark Five at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Monday, March 10. The program airs at 8:30PM on VH1 live from the Waldorf-Astoria in NYC. The Dave Clark Five suffered a tragic loss when singer Mike Smith passed away last week.

Converse 100th Anniversary: Joan Jett is a featured icon in the Converse "Connectivity" campaign, celebrating its 100th Anniversary this year. The campaign features fellow rockers like Karen O and Billie Joe Armstrong and legends like Sid Vicious, Hunter S. Thompson, James Dean and more.

True Colors tour: Jett will perform on three True Colors tour dates this summer in Houston, Dallas and Phoenix. The tour was launched in 2007 by Cyndi Lauper and is partnered with the Human Rights Organization and Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays. The 2008 tour will feature Lauper, The B-52s, Regina Spektor and more.

American Idol: Contestant Amanda Overmyer performed Jett's "I Hate Myself For Loving You" March 5th on the Fox program, which continues to draw huge ratings in its 7th season. The tune debuted in 1988 and was a Billboard Top 10 hit.

SXSW: San Antonio rock trio Girl in a Coma, LA power punks The Dollyrots and The Cute Lepers will perform in Austin next week at the 2008 SXSW Music Festival. These bands were hand-picked by Joan Jett and signed to her Blackheart Records label, which will also release a Joan Jett greatest hits CD/DVD package in August.

SXSW schedule:

The Dollyrots:
March 13 - Coup DeVille BMI Showcase - 11PM

Girl in a Coma:
March 12 - Continental Club - midnight
March 14 - Jovita's - 1AM
