(Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - 'The Soul Of Rock And Roll,' the first truly comprehensive Roy Orbison collection, includes 12 previously unreleased recordings as part of the 107 track, four-disc box set available online and in stores on Tuesday, September 30 (Monument/Orbison Records/Legacy Recordings). A live performance of "It's Over" from Roy's final concert on December 4, 1987 - recorded two days before his untimely death - is just one of many new and highly anticipated tracks included in this collection. Another notable track, from the earliest chapter of Roy's career, is a nearly 10-minute solo acoustic performance from 1956 of "Guitar Pull Medley: I Want You, I Need You, I Love You/I Was The One/That's All Right/Mary Lou/You're My Baby." Other never-before-released tracks include a cover of Little Richard's "Tutti Frutti" from 1956, early demo recordings, and a live performance of Chris Kenner's "Land of 1000 Dances" from 1972.
