NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - The Honey Brothers, originally an all-acoustic folk trio of Dory Honey (Andrew Vladeck, banjo), H. Huckleberry Honey (Ari Gold, ukulele) and Dr. J Carl Honey (D.S. Posner, guitar), evolved into a 5-piece "new wave folk" band after Honey DuContra (Adrian Grenier) witnessed their first live show at New York's The Living Room. Drawn to the rootsy rock and roll elements of the band's performance, he promised to record the band at his studio if they'd take him on as their drummer.

Now, seven years later, Honey DuContra and bassist Raw Honey (Ethan Gold) are the band's rhythm section. The Honey Brothers may be playing to larger crowds than they were in 2002, but their concerts are every bit as spellbinding as their first, and even more danceable.

The band has put together a short film that showcases their infectious live show, which begins with an impromptu sing-a-long at a truck-stop diner. Shot during a recent Northeast tour, the clip includes performances of their new single, the undeniably catchy "Demonstration," and "Won't Last Long," a fuzz-filled summer pop anthem. Both songs appear on their forthcoming "Demonstration" EP (June 16).

"People find our shows really uplifting," Honey DuContra muses. "It's not shoegaze."
