New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Fatboy Official Website) - British DJ extrodinaire Fatboy Slim has teamed up with former Talking Heads frontman David Byrne, Martha Wainwright, Cyndi Lauper, Santigold, and Tori Amos for a concept album.

'Here Lies Love', follows the life of Imelda Marcos, the former First Lady of the Philippines.

"Each track is sung by a different singer and there are some very interesting guests on there," Fatboy Slim, AKA Norman Cook said.

"It's a story-telling thing, like 'Evita', but coming at it from a different angle in that it tells the untold story that people didn't know about Imelda Marcos. It's not just about the shoes."

The project was initially initially set to be a musical, but Cook and Byrne decided to record an album too.

Marcos, who is best known for her huge collection of shoes, was found guilty of corruption in the mid-'90s, but her conviction was overturned on appeal.

"The story is more about what was going on in [New York club] Studio 54, rather than what went on in the Philippines," Cook told BBC 6.

"We wanted to reflect that...so it's kind of dance music based".
