LA (Top40 Charts) - The 3rd Annual El Premio de la Gente, Ritmo Latino Music Awards have been slated for Oct. 18 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

Nominees Juan Gabriel and A.B. Quintanilla y los Kumbia Kings are among the acts scheduled to perform a tribute to slain TexMex singer Selena at the event.
Paulina Rubio and Azul Azul garnered the most nominations with six apiece. Multiple nominees also include Ricky Martin and Christina Aguilera, Thalia, Shakira, Chayanne, and Luis Miguel, among others.

Fans can vote for the nominees at www.ritmomusicawards.com, starting Monday (Aug. 13) and ending Sept. 14. Tickets for the show go on sale Aug. 27 via Ticketmaster.
