New York (Top40 Charts/ TicketLiquidator) - TicketLiquidator, the leading provider of the world's most extensive inventory of hard-to-find, low-priced tickets, now offers James Taylor and Carole King tickets for their Troubadour Reunion Tour at great prices! Carole King met James Taylor in the early seventies, just as she was successfully branching out toward a solo career. By then, King, a Brooklyn native, had written hits for Bobby Vee ("Take Care of My Baby"), The Everly Brothers ("Crying in the Rain"), Aretha Franklin (tickets) ("A Natural Woman") with partner and (ex) husband Gerry Goffin before releasing her first charting album, Tapestry, in 1971.

Taylor, a New York City transplant originally from Boston, played guitar in numerous bands influenced by the Rolling Stones before falling deep into New York drug culture. After recovering in England, James Taylor released the album Sweet Baby James and his breakthrough hit "Fire and Rain." He then worked with Carole King on "You've Got a Friend" off the Tapestry album, one of their most famous songs to date.

Since then, King has worked with Eric Clapton (tickets), David Crosby and Mariah Carey (tickets) among others. She was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1987 and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990. Taylor has collaborated with Art Garfunkel (tickets), Bonnie Raitt and Stevie Wonder among others. For chart-topping hits like "You've got a Friend" and "Handy Man," James Taylor received six Grammy Awards including MusiCares Person of the Year in 2006.

"Taylor and King have been labeled as one of the most successful songwriter tandems along the lines of John Lennon / Paul McCartney and Elton John / Bernie Taupin." Stated Alexandra Owens, Media Relations, TicketLiquidator. "Like The Eagles tour set for this spring, The Troubadour reunion tour brings legends to the stage - this show is a must see!"

The idea for a James Taylor and Carole King reunion tour came about back in 2007 when the two reunited at sold out shows in the Los Angeles-based Troubadour for the first time since 1969. The Troubadour Tour will kick off at the Rose Garden in Portland Oregon on May 7, 2010 before an extensive US tour throughout July 2010. After Nearly forty years of pushing the singer-songwriter movement to the forefront, James Taylor and Carole King Tickets are the TicketLiquidator Ticket of the Week.
