Hollywood, CA (TOP40 Charts/ Carrillo Music LLC) -- Carrillo Music announced today the release of RHYTHM. The first full-length album from Rod Carrillo & Ronnie Sumrall delivers an eclectic array of pop, soul, dance, electro and underground house tracks. A departure from the norm, RHYTHM is an "outside of the box" and a refreshing musical voyage that excites, tantalizes and soothes the human spirit. RHYTHM is packed with surprises and features 12 very distinctive tracks.

"When creating Rhythm, I wanted to stay away from the current norm of Dance Music in America, stated Rod Carrillo. "With no definitions, clichs or stereotypes, it's a RHYTHM for all to enjoy."

"In a 2010 music business where Tracks have the longevity and substance of a late night burger from a curbside stall it's so refreshing to see a Record label (Carrillo Music) put their belief in an artist's (Ronnie Sumrall) album with the freedom to express himself in his art. To create from the soul, songs rich in meaning, uplifting and purposeful," reviewed Eddie Gordon, Media2Radio.

""The smooth dance-soul grooves of "Rhythm" are fresh and fun, making for a solid collection. "Give It," the album's hardest club thumper, fittingly arrives last, ensuring there's no lack of energy from beginning to end!" Gordon Murray - Billboard Magazine," reviews Gordon Murray, Billboard Magazine.

The first single release from the CD is the title track and is already gaining at radio and club internationally. The "Rhythm" single is a funky cadenced journey showcasing Ronnie Sumrall's brawny vocal power and adeptness coupled with Rod Carrillo's exceptional, groovy production. "Rhythm" is a contagious vocal journey that compares to the once great, Sylvester James.

"Life gets busy. Sometimes too much time passes before you need to reconnect to a good rhythm and rediscover your groove." - Ronnie Sumrall

Making a special guest appearance on the project is recent Billboard Club charting artist Shefali on BREAKIN' OUT, which is sure to "bust out" as a single release in the coming months. Bodega Charlie (Oye Party) also guests on the thumpin' "Oh Yeah." Carrillo and Sumrall fans will appreciate that the CD also includes the recent international hits "Moonshine Rising" and "Long Time."

Fighting current trends and daring to be different, RHYTHM claims its own powerful beat.

The RHYTHM album is available for purchase at iTunes, Masterbeat.com, Amazon, CD Baby and all other major online retailers.
