'Men Aloud'- Uk Singing Sensation Crosses The Atlantic For Public Television Debut!

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Men Loud Official Website) - MEN ALOUD, the award-winning, multi-platinum singing ensemble from the UK, are about to make their mark upon the shores of North America thanks to their first performance special, "Men Aloud: Live From Wales" which has been chosen as the premiere Public Television pledge drive program to be aired nationally beginning August 1st.

Winners of the BBC1 hit show "Last Choir Standing," the 20 immaculate young singers have taken the UK by storm introducing thousands of fans to the centuries-old Welsh choir tradition with their rousing interpretations of classic and contemporary hits. "Men Aloud: Live in Wales" was filmed in the Wales Millennium Center and features special guest performances by opera star Bryn Terfel, John Owen Jones (a leading man of London's West End) and pop icon Bonnie Tyler. "Men Aloud: Live In Wales" will air throughout August as well as during Public Television's September and December pledge drives. Formed in 2000 by Tim Rhys-Evans, MEN ALOUD is a bona fide sensation throughout Europe appearing regularly on radio and television and a flurry of high profile appearances and topping the UK classical charts.
