Hollywood, California (Top40 Charts/ Alpha Dog PR) - The Indie Thursdays musical showcases at The Renaissance Hollywood Hotel & Spa have become hugely popular and this November 11th will be rocking with the sounds of British artist Nick Howard. Moving to the US five years ago with nothing but his guitar and a dream, Nick literally worked around the clock balancing countless day jobs and night jobs and managed to squeeze in his music at every possible opportunity to carve out what is now a blossoming career as a recording artist and songwriter. Five years later he is an award winning touring and recording artist, and is currently supporting the release of his debut album, Something To Talk About.

You've probably heard his music on shows like The Hills, LA Ink, Jersey Shore, Greek, Army Wives and countless others. You may have seen him perform live on TV shows such as Fox's Fearless music or Comcast's Backstage. Perhaps you've heard him on the radio both in the UK and the US, his song A Better Man recently broke into the US radio charts and he was featured as an 'Artist To Watch' by Clear Channel's 'Discover New Music' campaign in 2009.

'We are delighted to be able to host a nationally recognized talent like Nick at our weekly Indie Thursdays series' says Dan Shaughnessy, Director of Sales and Marketing at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel & Spa.

'Since Indie Thursdays has no cover charge and is open to both the public and hotel guests, we are seeing more and more people showing up each week to kick back at our Lobby Bar as we showcase exciting, new independent music artists each week.'

The shows run from 7:30pm to 9:30pm every Thursday, with the monthly showcase on the first Thursday if each month with 5-6 artists or bands until about 11pm. While enjoying the music, guests are encouraged to try the delicious appetizers, entrees, desserts, and handcrafted signature cocktails available from the Lobby Bar.
All ages are welcome and, unlike a lot of venues in Hollywood, there's no cover. Parking is only $2.00 for the first 4-hours (with a validation).

Nick's music is available on iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, Napster, E-Music and all other digital retailers. Check out https://nickhowardmusic.com for more and make sure you download a copy of his single 'A Better Man' for free!
