Broadjam Partners With USA Songwriting Competition
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Broadjam Official Website) Broadjam, an online music submission website and the 16th Annual USA Songwriting Competition, the world's leading songwriting competition, have partnered to find the best songs. Broadjam is also a proud host to an online community of over 100,000 musicians and music fans from around the world.

The 16th Annual USA Songwriting Competition is currently accepting entries. Entrants can win a top prize of $50,000 worth of cash and merchandise such as cool gear from Sony, D'Addario Strings, Audio-Technica and more. Also, winning songs will be played on radio. Entrants may enter in 15 different categories such as: Pop, Rock/Alt, Folk, R&B, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Instrumental, etc.

USA Songwriting Competition has a long history of having winners getting success, recording and publishing contracts, have their songs placed on the charts as well as having their songs placed on film and television. 2010 winner Christopher Tin won 2 Grammy awards with the same song he submitted at the USA Songwriting Competition. 2009 First Prize winner Klyer England (country) was signed to Universal Records. 2005 First Prize winner (Pop) Kate Voegele was signed to Interscope Records the year after she won and had her winning song hit top 40 on the Billboard Charts, her latest album hit Top 10 on the Billboard 200 Album charts this summer. 2007 Overall Grand Prize Winner Ari Gold had his winning song "Where The Music Takes You" hit No 10 on the Billboard Dance Charts. Judges include A&R managers from the "big 4" record companies: Universal, Warner, EMI and SONY Music. Past year's winner include Grammy winner Alannah Myles, hit songwriter Ken Hirsch and up-and-coming songwriter ASON.

The deadline to submit is May 31, 2011. However, first 1,000 entries entered by March 31st or earlier will each receive free 6 issue subscription to Premier Guitar magazine & Recording magazine, super value of $34.99.
