AUSTIN, Texas (Top40 Charts/ Green Light Go Publicity) It's a year of 25th anniversaries at SXSW and Hill 16 Management is throwing a day party that not only celebrates the festival's 25th year, but honors the anniversary of Thin Lizzy's Phil Lynott's passing. The party, Dancing in the Moonlight, will feature performances by seventeen bands, many of them from Ireland, including activist and former Boomtown Rats frontman Bob Geldof, who will also be SXSW
Music 2011's Keynote Speaker. Geldof's latest release How To Compose Popular Songs That Will Sell, has just come out this month. Dancing in the Moonlight will be held at Jovita's on March 18 from noon to midnight with performances both inside and outside.
