BURBANK, CA. (Warner Bros. Records press release) - With their heads still spinning from triumphant back-to-back tours of Australia, Japan, Europe and the UK, The Von Bondies return to their homeland for their own headline tour before jumping onto Lollapalooza 2004. This year's festival will be a 2-day event that will feature The Von Bondies opening the main stage on day one on each stop. All tour dates will be listed below.

While their domestic fan base continues to swell, overseas audiences can't seem to get enough with every show sold out in every corner of the world. International record sales alone are now in excess of 100,000.
Press on both sides of the Atlantic are in love with "Pawn Shoppe Heart": "The Von Bondies write songs that are riff and muscle...There's nothing to get in the way of the exhilaration." - The New York Times.
"'C'Mon C'Mon'...will make you want to get a tattoo, stab your homeroom teacher, and pick up reform school girls. It will make you forget that there are other songs on Earth." - Spin
Rolling Stone said, "'Pawn Shoppe Heart' is powered by righteous riffs... The Von Bondies' second album proper offers all the kicks of a souped-up car roaring down the open road. Don Blum drums like the wheels are falling off. Stollsteimer's and Marcie Bolen's guitars sizzle like spit on a griddle. Bassist Carrie Smith sings 'Not That Social' with seductive soul."

In-between the May/June US tour and Lollapalooza, THE VON BONDIES will return to the UK for their biggest headline tour yet due to overwhelming demand. On the way, they will stop off in New York City to perform live on the "Late Show With David Letterman," set for June 22, 2004. Check local listings for details. Expect more US dates this Fall, to be announced shortly.
