New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) San Francisco musical iconoclast Forrest Day and director Jamie DeWolf, the great-grandson of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard, came together to do the impossible: conceptualize and film an awesome music video with a elaborate narrative and multiple sets and locations (including gorgeous underwater scenes) in less than 10 days. The result is one of the most unusual music videos you have seen all year. The video and song for "Sleepwalk" brilliantly capture the unsettling nature of our waking dreams.
"We wanted to create a video that was disorienting and dark in tonality, one that would keep up with the driving music. Right away the viewer is thrown into a world that's defined by panic and confusion," said DeWolf. Read an excellent feature on Forrest Day on the Huffington Post: https://huff.to/pWQ1lG
"I wasn't anticipating any shock value," Day said in response to some of the more graphic scenes in the video. "It just seemed like a cool way to get the band and fans involved."
