New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Song Summit Organization) To celebrate the launch of SONG SUMMIT 2012, we are pleased to present to you, DAVE STEWART IN CONVERSATION. This very special event will be the official kick off for Song Summit 2012, as presented by APRA| AMCOS and the NSW Government through Destination NSW, with the first announcement of local and international speakers.

This is a rare opportunity to hear from the internationally acclaimed songwriter, producer and artist. Hear stories, experiences and musical insights as he shares tales from his remarkable career in an intimate one-on-one interview, with Chit Chat.

About Dave Stewart
Stewart rose to prominence in 1983 as one half of seminal UK duo Eurythmics, whose hits included "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)", "Who's That Girl?" and "Would I Lie To You?".Since then he's co-written with and produced for Stevie Nicks, Tom Petty, Bono, Sinead O'Connor, Mick Jagger, Katy Perry, Jon Bon Jovi, and Joss Stone.

He's also performed in various projects of his own, most recently releasing a solo record called The Blackbird Diariesand collaborating with Mick Jagger, Damian Marley, Joss Stone and A. R. Rahman in the group SuperHeavy. Overall, Stewart's music career has seen three decades and over 100 million album sales.

Stewart's work outside of the music world is just as impressive. He's participated in a number of philanthropic and non-profit projects, from Greenpeace to Stand Up to Cancer, and worked

personally with Nelson Mandela on his innovative 46664 campaign. He's also released a highly regarded business tome now in eight languages (The Business Playground: Where Creativity and Commerce Collid), directed and produced a number of short films and movies, and developed his own media company (Weapons of Mass Entertainment).

Described by Bob Dylan as 'a fearless innovator', Dave is an acclaimed public speaker who regularly advised corporations and businesses on creativity and innovation.

The event will also be the launch pad for Song Summit 2012, as presented by APRA| AMCOS and the NSW Government through Destination NSW, with the first announcement of local and international speakers. In its 3rd year, it will take place in Sydney on May 26 - 28, 2012 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Song Summit has a proud history of bringing internationally celebrated songwriters and industry professionals to Australian shores. Past speakers have included the likes of Feargal Sharkey (UK Music); David Israelite (CEO National Music Publisher's Association USA); Ralph Murphy (ASCAP), and internationally acclaimed songwriters and composers, Mike Chapman (US); Sacha Skarbek (UK); Colin Hay (AUS); Stephen Schwartz (US); Robert Forster (AUS).
