The Band Perry To Perform National Anthem At AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic
Arlington, TX (Top40 Charts/ Sunshine Sachs) The AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic, in partnership with Samsung, is proud to announce that Grammy nominees, The Band Perry will kick off the 76th AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic. The Band Perry will perform the national anthem to a sold-out Cowboys Stadium on Jan. 6, 2012.

The Band Perry became one of Country music's hottest breakthrough acts in 2011 with a Platinum-certified debut album (The Band Perry) and a Triple Platinum hit single, "If I Die Young". The sibling trio most recently performed their latest single, "All Your Life" on both the CMA Awards, where they were named New Artist of the Year, and on the American Country Awards. The band is also nominated for a Grammy award for Best New Artist.

"We are thrilled to have The Band Perry perform as part of the pre-game pageantry at the 2012 Classic," Tommy Bain, Chairman of the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic said. "Our sold-out crowd is in for a real treat, and a special thanks to Samsung for making this possible."

The wildly popular sibling trio is composed of Kimberly, Neil and Reid Perry. They often describe their sound as a "modern throwback" that stands at the crossroads of Country music and Rock 'n Roll.

"Cowboys Stadium is one of the biggest and best venues in the entire world when it comes to country music," said Kimberly. "We are excited and honored to be singing our country's anthem on such a national stage."

The AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic will kick off on Jan. 6 and will be broadcast nationally to an audience of millions on FOX at 7 p.m. CST.
