NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - His hip-shaking antics might have caused the conservative sect to raise an a collective eyebrow back in the day, but Elvis Presley is now being inducted into Gospel Music Association's 2001 Gospel Hall of Fame.

Joining Presley in the Hall are Doris Akers, Wendy Bagwell & the Sunliters, Keith Green, Kurt Kaiser, Larry Norman, the Rambos, and Albertina Walker. A ceremony will take place on Nov. 27 at 7 p.m. at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and is open to the public.
