Bill
Bill Patrick (the legend) returns back to Blk|market
In America, specifically NYC, Bill Patrick is a man of many accolades... Since his days as a DJ in legendary clubs such as The Limelight, Vinyl & Arc, he has charmed our hearts and moved our bodies. Not to mention being co-founder of the famed Robots parties and amusing us weekly as Robot Radio's alluring and witty host. Within the world of electronic music everyone has a tale about our friend Bill Patrick. Some funny, some sad, some tragic, most shady, but at the end of each story or any encounter with this demi god your left wanting more.
In 2008, this mythical creature, who by chance was reborn a man, relocated to Berlin. Why? Few know. Some say it was in search of gold, some suggest it was out of self loathing, those in his inner circle say it was to be closer to them. He says it was to challenge the European state of mind and how sexually active they, as a people, can become. In any event all legend and lore were left behind. So where has that left this man, this nu-romantic? I'll tell you, striving to be more. It doesn't matter that the only place he now plays are mega festivals like Sunwaves in Romania, or super clubs like DC10, Fabric, Cocoon and Kristal club, for those in the know. He wants to step out of his box and come to you, to educate the minds of the world with his deep, psychedelic take on contemporary dance music. With the help of his unwavering comrades; Lee Burridge, Seth Troxler, Ryan Crosson and Shaun Reeves, he is destined to thrive!
alexi
Alexi Delano dwells in the perfect balance between shiny minimalism and dark vivacious techno. With more than two decades on stage he has been able to combine different roots and facets of the contemporary music scale.
Alexi is intimately linked to the Plus 8, Clink Rec and Truesoul labels and each one of his projects has been leaving foot prints on the minimal/techno scene. He performs constantly in clubs around the world and in prestigious events.
Born in Chile but raised in Sweden, Alexi, with fellow Swedes like Cari Lekebusch, Adam Beyer, Jesper Dahlback, Joel Mull and others, became part of some of the first wave of Swedish electronic music producers that made a name for themselves in the mid 90′s. Releasing on techno labels such as Missile, Primate, Hybrid, Jericho, Svek and many more.
With a production and DJ style that sways neatly between house and techno, he consistently surprises with each release. Just listen to his "Would You?" track released on Magda, Troy Pierce and Marc Houle's label 'Items And Things' of the M_nus family; or the acid house classic "
Believe Me" that he co-produced with Jesper Dahlback for Steve Bugs 'Poker Flat' label; continue with his and Xpansul's huge "Echolocation" track on Richie Hawtin's 'Plus 8′ label and you will get an idea of this mans eclecticism and creativity.

Joel Mull
When detailing Joel Mull's production career it's almost easier to name the labels that he is yet to appear on than to list the magnitude of seminal labels that have come calling for his work. Brief highlights include Harthouse (who released Joel's most recent album 'The Observer', Superstition, Turbo,
Music Man, Cocoon, Drumcode, EC Records, Audiomatique, Liebe*Detail, Jericho and Saved Records. This variety of labels says everything about the versatility of Joel's approach to making music and his ability to balance sounds from across the spectrum with heavy-duty rhythms, chords, and melody.
A product of the small but highly productive scene that has grown up in Stockholm, it comes as no surprise that Joel's discography is heavy on associations with other key players in the creation of the distinctive Swedish techno sound such as Adam Beyer, Jesper Dahlback and Cari Lekebusch. 2010 saw Joel embark on a busy period of studio productions; teaming up with
Dustin Zahn for the epic Close Your Eye's EP on
Enemy Reocrds, appearing on Dahlback's International Sound Laboratory label with a remix of Cari Lekebusch's 'Cold Blood', dropping typically emotive EP's on Jericho and Spectrum Recordings and somehow finding the time to also conjure up his third artist album - Sensory - which will be released in February 2011 on Adam Beyer's Truesoul label.
As a DJ, Joel brings the same qualities he has exhibited in his studio work to the live arena. Comfortably combining music from across a range, Joel is a dynamic and interactive DJ who blends rolling basslines, harmonic synths, and energetic percussions to craft an infectious and atmospheric sound. Regularly touching down across Europe, Asia, North and South America, Joel enjoys a worldwide fan base. Most at home building marathon sets that allow him to explore the range of his musical inspiration, Mull's sound is a living force; steeped in techno history but with both eyes firmly fixed on the future.
butane
Butane
How busy can one man be? Let Butane show you. He's running two highly regarded record labels, producing EP's, albums and remixes for some of the most respected labels in the business, and touring extensively across the most renowned clubs in Europe, America, Asia and beyond… all without breaking a sweat.
A firm believer that the long hours of studio work keep a musician grounded, he has amassed a considerable body of studio work, released by some of the most highly esteemed labels in the business, such as Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical, Dumb Unit, Foundsound, Alphahouse, Rrygular, Mo's Ferry, and Hallucination Limited. Licensing original tracks to mix compilations such as Matthew Dear's Fabric mix, Luciano's HiFi SciFi on Soma and Damian Lazarus' Get Lost mix shows that his peers in the industry hold his music in high regard.
As a label owner, he is the sole creative mind behind Alphahouse Records, one of North America's premier underground electronic music labels since 2005. Curated with extreme passion, and always a step ahead of the more commercial-minded labels, Alphahouse plays host to music from a virtual who's who of the artist-driven side of house and techno: Ricardo Villalobos, Dandy Jack, Run Stop Restore, Troy Pierce, Heartthrob, Skudge, Quenum, Someone Else, Franco Cinelli, Ryan Crosson, Kris Wadsworth, Ilario Alicante, and many more. Add to this his latest label project,
Little Helpers, run together with his long-time friend Sean O'Neal. With over 50 EPs in two short years, the label blazes constant ground in the digital music world, breaking numerous up-and-coming artists, while supplying valuable tools to creative DJs everywhere.
Where Butane's talent really shines, though, is as a DJ. Plenty of experience as a headline performer as well as an after-hour favorite enables him to play with an incredible range, and his remarkable sensitivity to the energy of the crowd is the rare trait of a seasoned and perceptive musician. His skillfully developed sets are both classy and elegant, but surely never predictable; thanks to his enormous collection of new and old tracks alike, expect anything from seamlessly blended groovy, sexy, peak-time techno to warm, deep, heady house music. Using vinyl, Traktor Scratch, samplers, outboard effects and whatever new tools are available to craft his sets, he puts a contemporary spin on old favorites, always mindful of the past, while pushing strongly towards the future.
Butane certainly makes a strong case for himself as one of the true talents in today's music scene, although he'll be the last one to tell you that, so please don't ask him to list his accomplishments. Ever humble, he prefers to let his music speak for itself.
