NEW YORK (Ashanti Fans Website) - With Ja Rule facing legal problems in New York and Toronto, it looks like Ashanti has had to find some new duet partners.
The R&B princess will be teaming up with Kermit The Frog, Queen Latifah and Quentin Tarantino for her next project - a made for TV movie entitled "The Muppets' Wizard of Oz". Ashanti will star as Dorothy.

According to femalefirst the latest version of the movie sees, the lead Dorothy Gale spending her days working in her aunt's Kansas diner and dreaming of becoming a famous singer, until a tornado hits her trailer and transports her to the magical land of Oz.
Henson's puppets Kermit the Frog, big-nosed Gonzo and Fozzie Bear will play Dorothy's friends in the movie.

Also starring in the classic will be Queen Latifah, who is currently in negotiations to play Dorothy's Auntie Em, while Miss Piggy of the Muppets will play the Wicked Witch of the West.
'Kill Bill' director Quentin Tarantino, is also slated for a cameo appearance.
