Out Now! Tribune Unleash 'Tales', Concept Album Inspired By The World's Greatest Authors + Blankfest Vancouver Nov 9
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Tribune official website) Out today, Tuesday, October 29th via their indie label Corpse Corrosion Music, Vancouver, BC based metal band TRIBUNE are proud to unleash their latest concept album 'Tales'.

Vocalist Bryan Baker comments:
"This album has been inspired entirely by literature, it features a wide array of influences, from Homer to Mary Shelley to H.P. Lovecraft, and continues Tribune's trend of becoming simultaneously more melodic and more brutally heavy on each album! 'Tales' is a re-imagining of what progressive death metal can be, and the members of Tribune believe it to be their finest effort yet."

This follow-up to 2011's Elder Lore/The Dark Arts, demonstrates TRIBUNE's brawn and brains with a collusion of extremity and accessibility. As the band's appetite for more extreme metal such as bands like Carcass, Death and At The Gates bleeds into their melting pot of influences, it has resulted in a fresh take on their fine metal sound, which can be heard echoing in the full album stream at the following link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s10NhGJhWgQ.

In additional news, Tribune will be performing at this year's 2nd annual homeless benefit show Blankfest-Vancouver in support of the city's Covenant House, the non-profit shelter that helps the cities street youth from age 16-24 who have fled physical, emotional and/or sexual abuse, along with those who have been forced from their homes or those who have aged out of foster care. Last year, the full-to-capacity event raised over $1,000 and over 200 clothing items for the city's less fortunate.

This year's event will see seven local Vancouver bands with support from bands from Kelowna and Calgary ranging in various genres of rock n' roll, hard rock and metal, performing from 7:30pm to 2am at The Railway Club to share their tunes, raise awareness, funds and clothing for the city's homeless.

As the event slogan goes, 'It's About The Homeless, Nothing More, Nothing Less.'.
Blankfest Calgary is just one of many events across North America inspired by founder Kenn Rowell, who has been organizing Blankfest in New York City since 1997 and has encouraged others to hold Blankfests in various parts of the USA, Canada (Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary) and Europe to help the homeless with the support from their music communities.
